Scope and Contents of the Collection
This collection documents the career of Harry Walter Tyler. A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Tyler was member of the MIT faculty in the Department of Mathematics from 1889 to 1930. The collection includes a biographical sketch, correspondence between Harry W. Tyler and his parents (1887-1889), and other family correspondence. There are journals about Tyler's travels to England and Germany (1887-1888), and notebooks from classes he took in Göttingen and Erlangen....

Scope and Contents of the Collection
The collection consists of records of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's (MIT) president inaugural committees since 1900. The records are primarily documents with some photographs and memorabilia. The inaugurations of Henry Pritchett, Richard Maclaurin, Ernest F.
