Abstract The collection documents the work of Herbert L. Beckwith, a member of the faculty of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the Department of Architecture from 1926 until his retirement in 1968. As senior partner in the firm of Anderson, Beckwith, and Haible, he co-designed a number of MIT buildings including the Dorrance Building, the Whitaker Building, Rockwell Cage, McCormick Hall, and the Alumni Pool.
