Abstract This collection contains transcripts and audio files of six lectures Aldous Huxley gave at the Massachusetts Instititue of Technology in the fall of 1960. He was the Carnegie Visiting Professor of Humanities at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) presenting a series of lectures concerning history, language, and art under the title "What a Piece of Work is a Man." The lectures were presented by the MIT Department of Humanities as part of the Centennial Program of the founding of MIT.
