Abstract Harold Locke Hazen, a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, was a member of the MIT faculty from 1931 to 1972, serving as head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, 1938-1951, and Dean of the Graduate School, 1952-1967. His work was in the field of machine computation, automatic control, and servomechanisms.
