From the Collection:

This collection consists of oral histories conducted with women graduates of the Massachusetts institute of Technology (MIT). The earliest graduation date of those interviewed is 1922. The majority of interviewees earned undergraduate degrees from MIT, and several were later associated with MIT in administrative roles.

The oral histories are a resource for researchers of the history of women in the fields of science, engineering, technology, and architecture; the role of women in higher education; and the evolution of the involvement of women at MIT.

There are audio casettes of a few of the interviews, but access to them is restricted by the gift agreements.
