Scope and Contents
The MIT Department of Economics website provides an overview of the Department and information academic programs, people, events and seminars, centers, and publications. For over a century, the Department of Economics at MIT has played a leading role in economics education, research, and public service. The Department’s commitment to advancing leading-edge research is paired with a focus on enhancing the quality of economics education at MIT and beyond. It is part of The MIT School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (SHASS).
