Satirical etching depicting a preacher standing on a chair, resting his Bible on a man’s head and reciting from Matthew 5:9, “What came ye out for to see?”, to which a member of the audience replies, “Why you Lubber the Balloon to be sure.” A balloon ascension pictured in the background features a balloon labeled “Green.”
