Biographical note
Isadore Candeub, MCP 1948, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, was chair of the Executive Committee of Candeub, Fleissig & Associates, an urban planning and environmental consulting firm. He founded the firm in Newark, New Jersey, in 1953 with Morris B. Fleissig, a lawyer. Candeub was born in Rumania and graduated from City College of New York in 1943. He did graduate work at Columbia University before coming to the School of Architecture and City Planning at MIT. Before founding the firm, he spent 20 months working for the federal government as Chief Planner for the Northeastern region of the Housing and Home Finance Agency.
Isadore Candeub died in 1986.
