Zelma Weiss (Mrs. Martin Ritvo) worked as a research assistant in the department of chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 1943 to 1945. She was the mother of Harriet Ritvo, Arthur J. Conner Professor of History at MIT.
