The Faculty Policy Committee is chaired by the chair of the faculty of MIT, has responsibility for maintaining a broad overview of MIT's academic programs; interprets, implements, and helps formulate policies on a broad range of issues of concern to the faculty. It identifies issues of concern to faculty and facilitates interchange between members of the faculty and administrators of the Institute.
