Scope and Contents of the Collection
The records of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Alumni Club of New York contains the club constitution and bylaws, correspondence and reports of club officers, and newsletters. Minutes of the general meetings of the club (1947-1959), and minutes of executive committee meetings are included, as are correspondence, reports, and minutes of meetings of the Board of Governors, the Finance Committee, the Membership Committee, and the Program Committee. There is information about the alumni fund and correspondence with other MIT alumni clubs. There are records about the club house, and correspondence and plans for a variety of club activities, including seminars, symposia, workshops, and cultural activities.
