The Massachusetts Institute of Technology Finance Research Center was originally established in the Sloan School of Management as the International Financial Services Research Center in September 1988. The Center hosts conferences on financial issues and provides sponsor firms with discussions with faculty and research collaborations. In addition to connections with Sloan faculty, faculty from the Department of Economics and the School of Engineering participate.
