Biographical / Historical
George Morris Tompson (1852-1949) was a member of the class of 1873 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), but did not receive a degree. He was a surveyor and construction engineer for many railroads in the United States and Mexico, including the Boston and Maine and the New Haven Railroads.
