Biography
Jay K. Lucker, 1930-1982, AB 1951, Brooklyn College; MS 1952, Columbia University, was assistant university librarian for science and technology at Princeton University, 1959-1968; associate university librarian, 1968-1975; and director of libraries at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 1975-1995. He was active in professional library organizations including the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) and the American Library Association (ALA), and consulted on many library building projects.
