The Margaret MacVicar Memorial AMITA (Association of MIT Alumnae) Oral History Project began in 1990 with the purpose of documenting life histories of women who graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The collection comprises interviews of women who graduated in 1922 and later. Interviews have been conducted by students working in MIT’s Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP).

The collection contains a transcript of the interview, and background materials and notes including synopses of 18 of Edgerton's laboratory notebooks made by Marc Miller in preparation for the interview.
