This collection of the personal papers of Leo Beranek reflect his personal and professional activites from approximately 1921 to 2015. Included are records of his work as a founder of Bolt, Beranek and Newman, Boston Broadcaster's, Inc. (WCVB-TV), in academia at the Harvard Electro-Acoustic Laboratory, and his work as an acoustical consultant.

Abstract

Lonsdale Green was a member of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) class of 1887. The collection consists of a letter to Harold E. Lobdell, dean of students, dated April 4, 1940, which describes Green's decision to attend MIT's course in architecture in 1883 and Green's correspondence with MIT professor of architecture William Robert Ware concerning the Institute's program.
