The papers of Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor Bernard S. Gould consist largely of Gould's writings, and professional correspondence with a number of companies including the Gillette Safety Razor Company and the Howard Company with whom he worked.
The collection contains Herman Meissner's correspondence with E. I. Du Pont de Nemours and Company and the New Jersey Zinc Company on teflon powder pellitizing and the processing of zinc. Also contains research notebooks and reprints of his articles.
The collection contains John T. Norton's course notes, problem sets, quizzes, and lab projects from classes Norton taught in X-ray Metallography (3.50) and Materials Science II (3.51), 1950-1964. Also includes correspondence about consulting work, and writings about metallurgy and x-ray metallurgy.
