Francis Bitter papers
These papers document the career of Francis Bitter, who helped establish the National Magnet Laboratory at MIT. The bulk of the collection postdates 1934, when Bitter came to MIT. The papers consist primarily of correspondence with colleagues, professional societies, and concerns that hired him as a consultant.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Patent Management Committee records
This collection contains minutes, correspondence, and agendas of meetings (1931-1960) of the Patent Policy Committee of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. It also includes minutes, correspondence, and memoranda of meetings of the Patent Management Committee from its founding in 1942 until 1968. Also included are minutes of joint meetings of the Patent Committee and the Patent Management Committee.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Technology Licensing Office records
The largest set of material in the Technology Licensing Office collection (AC-0503) consists of case files in series 1 (invention disclosure case files). Records in collection AC-0503 were transferred to the permanent holdings of the Institute Archives beginning in 2004, but files, especially case files, may be created over a period of time. Therefore, documents in files will have dates earlier than 2004.
